Get ready to rock, Cola. The City of West Columbia is hosting the first-ever Meeting Street Music Fest on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 4-8 pm. Bonus: It’s completely free to attend.
Head to the 500-700 blocks for a feel-good showcase featuring a variety of genres — including nationally and regionally renowned artists — on multiple stages throughout the River District.
Want to keep the fun going after dark? Head to the after-party at Chayz Lounge for a Meet & Greet with Meli’sa Morgan.
The SC Philharmonic’s Chamber Crawl will kick off its 2023-2024 season at Bierkeller Brewing Company on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. Enjoy an authentic German Biergarten experience while you listen to a woodwind trio by the river. Tickets are $20.
The annual Big Grab yard sale — the largest yard sale event in the Midlands — will take place on Friday, Sept. 8 + Saturday, Sept. 9. The yard sale covers 50 miles and runs through Blythewood, Ridgeway, and Winnsboro. Check the maps and shop til’ you drop.

Returning to the Chapin Labor Day festivities for this year is the Taste of Chapin, Chapin’s version of Restaurant Week. Taste of Chapin is produced and hosted in partnership by the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Chapin, with the goals of increasing consumption, fostering innovation and inspiring consumer confidence in our restaurant members.
