The Food Academy’s Catering Tasting at South Carolina State Museum | Friday, Oct. 13 | 3 to 5 pm | $55 | Getting married? Hosting a corporate meeting? Planning a social event? Are you in charge of your office’s catering? You SURELY don’t want to miss this CATERING TASTING!
Oktoberfest at Bierkeller in Elgin on Oct. 14 & 15
Movie in the Park | Friday, Oct. 13 | 6 – 9 pm | Roy Lynch Park, 900 Abbeville Street, Columbia | This event will be held at Roy Lynch Park located in the Elmwood neighborhood. There will be a pumpkin patch, food trucks, face painting, balloon artists and other activities for families. The featured film will be The Super Mario Bros. So, bring your blankets and chairs and get ready for a great event hosted by Village Church downtown.
Picnics in the Park with Forest Acres | $5 | Be sure to join Town Theatre for its fourth concert series ~ Picnics in the Park ~ Fridays, October 13, 27 and November 3 starting at 5:45 PM. Each concert, lasting roughly one hour and concluding before the setting sun, will feature different performers in an evening of song providing the perfect backdrop for a family picnic.
