Hello Columbia! Welcome to this week’s list of fun things to do in the Columbia metro area!
Columbia Food Tours offers a food tour on Main Street and it’s a 2.5 – 3 hour walking food tour throughout downtown Columbia. You will learn about the Capital City, as well as try the local cuisine from 5 to 7 of the best locally owned restaurants.
Tourists and locals alike come spend an afternoon strolling around the beautiful city and enjoying delicious food!
Main Street Food Tours features 5 to 7 restaurants on and around the Main Street area of downtown Columbia. This tour is currently held on most Saturdays starting at 1:45pm.
This tour is $50 per person, $45 for military. Advance ticket purchase required.
Fort Jackson Independence Day Fireworks Celebration at Hilton Field commemorating the 247th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and creation of our Nation. Entertainment is Saturday, July 1st and includes a variety of static displays, concert by country/R&B/Pop artist Blanco Brown with Brooks Herring, Fireworks, Kids Zone with Carnival Rides and Crafts Tents, Food/Beverages; AAFES food trucks and NCO Club Bar tents (beer and wine only).
The Market is back at Richland Library and excited to bring you farmers, bakers, artists, creators and local authors all in one place! Come shop your community to get fresh produce, meet your new favorite author or pick out an interesting piece of art.
The Market at Richland Library is a local, producer-only market, held weekly on Wednesdays, 10am-2pm, at Richland Library Main, April through October.
Vendors are local growers, creators, makers, and builders.
The Town of Blythewood’s Annual “A Rockin’ Red White & Blue” celebration is back, Saturday, July 1st at Doko Meadows Park! Enjoy fireworks, live music, vendors, and more! Featuring the Voltage Brothers. FREE Event!
