Hello Columbia! Welcome to this week’s list of fun things to do in the Columbia metro area!
8th Annual Columbia’s Shrimp & Grits Fest at Seawell’s on June 24th. Many restaurants have shrimp and grits on their menu; most even claim theirs is the best. Now is the chance to find out who really has the best shrimp and grits!
Area restaurants and caterers will compete and one restaurant will be named “Columbia’s Best Shrimp & Grits” by a panel of judges. There will also be a winner in the “People’s Choice” division.
Tickets include unlimited shrimp & grits samples from restaurant participants, live music and opportunities for door prizes and more.
Mediterranean Wine Dinner at Chapin Branch Library in Chapin heads to the Mediterranean and takes a tour of all the beautiful countries that make up this region of the world through amazing wines and delicious cuisine. Includes six glasses of wine paired with an amuse bouche and five course dinner as well as an opportunity to purchase your favorite bottles at the end of the night.
